Thinking about hiring a personal Trainer?
A fitness program needs individual guidance in order to see real results. Even the best athletes in the world have trainers and coaches. A personal trainer should be, well, personal. Our bodies are always changing and evolving, and our exercise and nutrition programs should be changing as well. At Balance Fitness we guide and support you along your fitness and wellness journey through continuous evaluation of your progress and accountability. Lynette became my trainer almost five years ago after my previous trainer left the profession. I felt the change in trainers moved my sessions to a higher level. Lynette’s love of good health is present during each of my sessions. Her goal is not only to assist me in performing each exercise in the most effective manner but to also encourage me to implement a healthy diet and good mental health on a daily basis. She truly exemplifies the name of her studio, “Balance”. Good physical and mental health along with a balanced diet.
When I moved to Florida four years ago, I was fortunate to find Lynette for a personal trainer. She is a highly qualified instructor with extensive experience and knowledge in the field of fitness. Her level of professionalism is reflected in her teaching methods, her well-constructed curriculum, and her obvious willingness to share her passion and knowledge with others.
Four years ago, at the age of 49, I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. I started working out with Lynette and she has literally changed my life. She creates workouts to coincide with the complications of my disease. Not only does she work on my balance and strength but also challenges my mind while training. I have follow-up doctor visits every six months and they are always super impressed with my progression. Lynette’s passion for helping people is so strong and the difference she has made in my life has given me POWER OVER PARKINSON’S!
Lynette is the most competent, dynamic, engaged, dedicated, understanding, and kind wellness advocate I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. For nearly 15 years, I have had the good fortune of being able to train with Lynette in both one-on-one and group settings. No matter the exercise activity at hand, Lynette is forever challenging and motivating and is an absolute consummate fitness professional.
Lynette helped me turn my life around. As my personal trainer three days a week, she helped me with my diet, workouts, and a variety of studio classes. She tailored all my exercises around my fitness level and sports injuries. Lynette brought my tennis level up and created exercises to help my footwork. When I was hurting or just plain tired, she would take me into the studio and practice yoga. She also encouraged me to take classes that I never imagined I would/could do. She ALWAYS had a smile and was upbeat every single day I saw her. I completed all the gym challenges, sometimes even first. She NEVER missed a day!
Anyone in search of the finest training available. I started training with Lynette in 2016. Over the last twenty years I have used a dozen different trainers. Lynette is the most knowledgeable trainer I have ever met. Couple this with her wholesome, family-oriented life, she is a fine person and I was lucky to spend two and a half years benefiting from her guidance and having her in my life. I had a bad shoulder tear and she helped me heal, not the physical therapy people. Her yoga sessions complemented our training to such a degree at 60 years old I looked the best I had ever looked in my life! She is THE BEST TRAINER I have ever known. I am honored to write this concerning my friend, trainer, supermom, wife, Lynette Laufenberg 🙂
Lynette has been such a blessing to me. Lynette is a wonderful trainer for so many reasons! Lynette makes working out fun with her love of music, dancing, motivational quotes, and passages. Lynette always keeps me motivated during an exercise letting me know that I am doing a great job with her positivity! I was looking for a trainer and I am so very thankful that I was recommended to Lynette. Six 1/2 years ago I was in a bad car accident where I suffered a traumatic brain injury. I was in a coma for a few weeks which also caused my speech to be affected, and I use a walker a lot for my daily balance obstacles. Thankfully, Lynette comes up with great exercises for me to not only strengthen my body, but also work on coordination and brain fitness! I am truly thankful for Lynette!
I have known Lynette for many, many years. As a trainer, she helped me to rehabilitate after a serious surgery that had left me malnourished and weak. She structured my work outs based on my anatomical needs. She was kind, motivating and insightful. I have worked with Lynette in both a private and group setting. We have lifted weights, done endless hours of interesting cardio workouts, cycled, and done all levels of yoga. As a yoga teacher, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a heart of gold to the mat.
I am so excited for Lynette to start her journey in her new studio. Anyone who has the privilege of working with Lynette will always be nourished, strengthened, and empowered.
I had the pleasure of working with Lynette for the past several years and always enjoyed our workouts. She is great at understanding a client’s goals, physical needs and enhancing the sports that a client is engaged in. I am really looking forward to working with Lynette again when horse season resumes this fall – I know she will be a great asset to my training team! And, I miss her!!
Lynette has been a positive influence on my physical and psychological health for many years. As I head into my 93rd year, under Lynette’s supervision, I have been able to maintain a wonderful quality of life!
Lynette has taught me how to do things I never thought possible, improving my balance, strengthening my core, and learning that I am stronger than I ever thought I could be. She challenged me physically and mentally to try new things that I can now comfortably build upon. Five years later, I am still taking yoga classes and working on strength training. I could not have met my physical and mental health goals, without Lynette’s encouragement and training expertise.
I am so grateful Lynette is a part of my fitness journey. Our community is lucky to have such a knowledgeable and positive health professional. Her classes are motivating, one-on-one training challenging, and both produce a healthy body and mind. I feel the time I spend with Lynette is my best investment.
I attended Lynette’s classes for many years, and they were always my favorite. She is a great fitness instructor and an amazing personal trainer. When I trained with Lynette, she pushed me to achieve my fitness and health goals and at the end of every session I felt better physically and mentally! I am looking forward to training with her again soon!
Lynette is a highly skilled personal trainer who understands me and my training needs. With uncanny ability, Lynette knows when to push you to reach your best and … also when to ease up. This is not “one-size-fits-all” exercise. Excellent.
If you believe your best investment is in yourself, then you understand the importance of a fitness program. The balance and correlation fitness has with mental health is also interrelated with feeling good about yourself. Time is something you cannot buy. The important thing is how you spend it. My investment: “Best in Class” Lynette Laufenberg of Balance Fitness.
I started training with Lynette when I was 70 years old and totally out of shape. I signed up for three months and she turned things around for me. I became more active, balanced, and full of energy and vigor. Cannot thank her enough. Keep up the good work!
I have been training with Lynette for over a year. Lynette is not only a Master Trainer but a great human being! She is kind, patient and professional.
Lynette is an exceptional yoga teacher and guide. Her classes are always organized in a way to progress through meaningful warm-ups and stretches and lead to sets of varied poses that challenge the body and the mind while highlighting techniques that protect the muscles and joints. Her demonstrations and explanations are always helpful in understanding correct form and she encourages her students to strive for higher levels of attainment.
At the end of every class I have a sense of relaxation and calm. Thank you!!
Lynette is a great personal trainer! I do two (virtual) sessions a week and she will go above and beyond what I expected. For example, she keeps track of my progress in the sessions and by email for the rest of the week, which is very motivating. I am 68 and have been exercising for years, but she is teaching me a lot of new and helpful things. This is the best investment in my health that I have made.
I have known Lynette for many years – as a yoga instructor and as a personal trainer. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her profession. I have taken yoga classes from other instructors, but Lynette is, by far, the BEST!! I really love how she guides you through the session – it flows very nicely – and tells you exactly what part of your body to concentrate on, to improve your form. As a personal trainer, she will push you to do your best and give a little more than you think you can do! She is also very encouraging and wants you to achieve your personal goals. I would highly recommend Lynette to anyone looking for an exceptional Instructor. And besides all that, she is truly a wonderful person.
Lynette offers a great yoga and Pilates experience. I have been a student of hers for many years in class settings as well as in personal training sessions. She is informative. Her knowledge of muscles, bones and tendons is valuable as she explains which exercises, poses and counter poses affects them. She has a huge amount of exercises that target different parts of the body from which she draws and offers modifications if poses or positions become difficult due to medical limitations or just the newness of a student to the practice. She also tailors the practice to the wishes of a client and their specific requests.
Lynette is compassionate. She encourages you to be the best you can be while giving an extra “push” when necessary. As you attend her classes, Lynette adds a sense of humor to the practice with anecdotes and little bits of information that are pertinent to what we are doing at the time. It is so nice to chuckle about a common issue and she provides a sense of additional understanding. Lynette is a wonderful teacher who knows her trade and has a tremendous amount to offer.
If you are looking for a true coach and trainer, Lynette is as good as they come. She understands what exercise and diet routine you should have based on your goals. I highly recommend her for athletes as that is my background. She has helped with speed, strength, and power. Lynette is a personal trainer, but more importantly, a lifestyle coach and expert.
